One star. My family loves hibachi, and honestly, hibachi should not be very hard to get right. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark by a wide margin. Hibachi is supposed to be cooked fresh on a hot grill, with flavor built in real time. What we received instead tasted like everything had already been cooked long before, then scooped into a container when it was time for pickup. Oh wait, that's because I sit and watch them scoop everything out of a pre-cooked container at pickup . Pre-cooked meat, rice, and vegetables does not equal hibachi. It equals leftovers. We sat in the parking lot waiting for it to show 'done' for nearly 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. I guess they assumed we would walk in at the time regardless? I am a diabetic so rice is a no no for me. I ordered a hibachi chicken with no rice and add extra vegetables. I also told them I would pay extra if I have to. They gave me a dish that was 80% onions and they were old and slimy. When I complained the owner looked under the shelf to see who I was and then gave me 5 pieces of broccoli to compensate my complaint. I felt like he was judging me based off of how I looked

I should have looked at reviews before ordering. The service was fine. Everyone working the front seemed to be in their late teens. No complaints. Young man answered the questions I had about the food. The food was absolutely not worth returning for another visit. I ordered one hibachi steak and one hibachi chicken and shrimp. This was the driest steak I have EVER had. You can see in the picture how dry it is. Without sauce it would have been inedible. The shrimp did not taste fresh and I could not eat more than a few bites of it. The rice was fine; the only decent things in the plates. Portions are small. Called in due to the current pandemic for pick-up for hibachi streak, chicken and shrimp, shrimp tempura, and fried beef dumplings. Employee was very quick and to the point on the phone and said 15-20 minute wait. A bit slow at the window to grab the food since the cashier is also answering the phone and taking orders. Stopped ringing me out to answer phone and work with someone bringing food up from the back whom did not have a face mask on. Kitchen staff did have a face mask on though. The 5 Fried dumplings were tasty and hot. The 3 shrimp tempura came with a deep-fried onion rings, zucchini spice, and piece of broccoli.
