We had a fantastic meal. I had an asada, pastor, and barbacoa taco. My friend had the pozole. Everything was delicious. I finished my meal with a tres leches cake.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Jasmine's Bakery is truly one of East Albany’s hidden gems. It’s an authentic Hispanic restaurant and bakery—the kind of place where locals who know good food go when they want the real thing. The food is flavorful, fresh, and very reasonably priced. My absolute favorite is the tostadas. You can choose your meat, and they come topped with beans, lettuce, tomato, Mexican cheese, and avocado. They are so good—and at only about $3–$4 each, they’re perfect if you want a delicious lunch without spending much. If you’re not super hungry, it’s one of the best deals in town. I bring friends from Albany State University here all the time since it’s so close, and everyone has loved it. The service is friendly and welcoming, though you do pay at the counter. I asked the waiter if they could make shrimp tacos and he said no, so I ordered the shrimp cocktail for $10.99. The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. The crackers they gave me were expired. I was unexpectedly charged $0.99 for water. Additionally the beans are not vegetarian, which makes it difficult to find items on the menu suited for vegetarian/pescatarian diets.
