Some co-workers and I came for lunch based on word of mouth. We sat at the bar. First of all, the atmosphere is lovely. It was clearly intentionally and thoughtfully designed down to the small details. It’s bright, airy, cheerful, and smells great, with plenty of real plants and fresh floral arrangements. The music really complements the vibe as well. Seating was comfortable and space was ample. Food was pretty good. Lobster enchilada and shrimp quesadilla was excellent. I thought the guacamole was good, but it was a bit spicy for some. Queso fundido wasn’t my favorite. It was a bit too thick, although we did order it without the chorizo, so it could have been our alterations that affected texture. Service was fantastic. Christina the bartender was a real gem. She was friendly, personabl

I just had an amazing experience at Javier's, the new restaurant in Pasadena! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Mexican flavors that will leave you craving more. But what really stole the show was the patio - it's gorgeous and perfect for a night out with friends or family. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff were super friendly.

A new Mexican restaurant that opened in December. I am honestly not sure what the hype is about. The place was completely packed on a Saturday evening, and many people were very dressed up for the restaurant. The decor is attractive, but the music was extremely loud, giving the space a strong club-like vibe. Our reservation was for 9:30 pm for a party of five. We arrived at 9:15 pm but were not seated until 10:45 pm, at which point we were told that the kitchen closed at 11 and that we needed to place our order immediately. The server was friendly and very nice to us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food did not match the service. The prices are high, yet the quality is very mediocre. Nothing tasted outright bad, but at these prices I expected something special. A $40 small plat

If you're making a late evening reservation, keep in mind that you may wait anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes to be seated. Our reservation was at 10:00 p.m., and we didn't receive the "table ready" text until 10:30. That said, we were able to get seats at the bar, which allowed us to avoid the wait entirely. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently excellent, the service was amazing, and the drinks are always a hit. Highly recommended. If possible, I suggest opting for an earlier dinner to avoid the typical evening wait times.

Food was mediocre, overall experience was good. The ambience is amazing. We all know that, that’s why you’re here. The comfort of the seats, beautiful plants, and electric atmosphere are incredible. The food quality does not match the excellent service and interior design, however. Honestly, take some pride in your work. It was really frustrating for me. Grocery store chips and tortillas. Extremely salty and dry beans. Super sour chile verde. Not a fan of the food. The steak was good but nothing special. Enchiladas were very underwhelming too. Portions are ok size at least. I’d avoid enchiladas and tacos though if you’re hungry. I don’t want to be a hater or anything im so glad this beautiful restaurant is in pasadena. They better improve their quality if they ever want me to come back tho
