JB's on the Beach

I had a wonderful experience at JB’s on the Beach. The food, service, and overall vibe of the restaurant was wonderful! I heavily enjoyed the bread before the meal, and the meal itself was delicious. I had the caesar salad with shrimp. However, what stood out to me the most was the service. The food came out quickly and the waiter was impeccable. I believe his name was Tommy from Uruguay. He was so charming, very kind, polite and always checking in with us. He made wonderful conversation and I would dine at JB’s again just to have Tommy be my waiter. Whatever he is currently making he deserves a raise because he made the experience very delightful.

We had an exceptional business lunch at this restaurant. The food was delectable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to assist. The patio seating, overlooking the beach, provided a truly delightful ambiance. I had the house salad and the seafood paella.

Cool and hip. Busy atmosphere, friendly patrons and good view of the beach. Got the blackened Mahi instead of salmon on the salad. Large portion yet I finished it all. Sat at the bar and the waitress was quite pleasant and even said she wanted to try what I ordered. Judging by the accent lots of ex-NYers so it felt familiar.

I had a high expectation given the star ratings and proximity to the ocean. So I ordered starters first to see how they are, 6 oysters and ceviche. As you can see in pictures, they were the smallest oysters I have ever had in my life. Tastes were ok. I probably need 30 to be satisfied. Ceviche was nothing special. Chips portion was unnecessarily large. It was busy Saturday dinner time, and even without a reservation, we didn’t wait and offered a seat right away. (We had only two people.) Staffs were generally friendly and accommodating.

Excellent restaurant, the food is exquisite, the service is very friendly and attentive, it's a place I would recommend 100%, you can't miss it.
