This is the worst Haitian spot ever.

It was my very first time visiting J & D Good Taste Restaurant… I am beyond satisfied and highly impressed with the quality of the food. Amazing taste. I ordered the griot to stay, the legumes, and Bouillon to go. The griot was absolutely delicious and fresh, platains done well!! Now, when I got home and tasted the bouillon it felt like I was back home at Moms…OMG!! The legumes was the same … just like Moms. They give very nice portions and lots of meat. I’m definitely going back. Now I have to try my Jamaican faves from them. You’ve gained a customer in me. Thank You !!

I usually order from here on Ubereats and always enjoy my meal. Was disappointed to know they give you certain sides on the app but in person they cost extra for the same price. I Thought I was doing them a favor by paying directly but I feel like I got cheated. I usually get the Legume with white rice sauce pwa and sweet plantain , and it's not bad (not the greatest but it was ok) but I feel like this time it had less flavor and even with me showing her the past orders on the app she refused to give me the plantains. I don't think I'll be going back. Last time I ordered on uber eats they messed up my order and some food was missing. I had to drive to the restaurant to get it, now this. Smh

Just ordered from this place for the 1st time. And I'm sure it will be the only time. I ordered the Oxtail dinner and the oxtails were very dry as if they were very over cooked or they were old recycled from a previous day or two. Either way, that were not of quality at all. The flavors were there but the meat was supposed to be the Star. I'll will move along and take my business elsewhere. Maybe you should consider not giving them a try.
