Jenny's Country Manor Lodge

Let me just say this up front — this is your classic small-town roadside motel. Not fancy, not modern, not pretending to be anything it’s not. We stayed here a couple years ago and it definitely had that “frozen in time” vibe...floral curtains, mismatched furniture, carpet that has seen some things, and the kind of bathroom that reminds you to pack your flip flops. It worked for the night, the room was big enough, and the bed technically did what it needed to do, but it wasn’t one of those “can’t wait to come back” places. The staff was nice, check-in was easy enough (just follow the signs and ring the phone), and the location is convenient if you’re passing through. But yeah — every time I drive past it now I still say “ugh, Jenny” under my breath. Maybe they’ve updated it since then,

A really cute motel! The staff was very attentive and kind. Donna was helpful with getting us comfortable in our cozy room. Everything was clean and tended to and pasted the dust test. The area is beautiful, just off the Taconic Parkway, and the motel sits across the street from an historic schoolhouse from 1820.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend, Sept. 12-14 for an anniversary weekend and had a wonderful stay. Donna was such a gracious host. It was a great location for us. Breakfast was made fresh for us when we went for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Another great experience at Jenny's Country Manor, we were there during the July 4th weekend. Donna is fantastic, provided a delicious breakfast with a bottomless cup of coffee. My family always enjoys the nostalgia and quaint upstate feel of the experience. Hope to be there again soon.

Jenny's Country Manor is a hidden gem. Only stayed 1 night to take care of something in the area. I had the pleasure of meeting Donna at check in. The lobby was so warm cozy and decorated for Christmas. This was the 1st time I have stayed here. When I got to my room I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Was not expecting to have a mini apartment when I booked the room. The room was furnished with a mini fridge, coffee maker, kitchen sink with counter space. The rooms also have a outside sitting area in front of each room. Did not get to sit outside and enjoy the view it was way to cold. The room heated up nice and cozy. Looking forward to spending more time at Jenny's in the warmer weather. Also looking forward to checking out the antique car
