Jensai Sushi

Sacramento has an abundance of delicious restaurants and this one is on the list! Walking in, Ian welcomed us to the restaurant and also to the neighborhood serving us delicious sushi rolls like the Broadway and Green Machine as well as and other dishes. With a daily happy hour menu that is plentiful, we look forward to returning.

Tbh I’m not sure how this place is 4.5 stars. It’s subpar. I can eat the same or better quality at Bento Box for less. They put very little fish on the rolls. There were even a couple of slices of the roll where there was no fish. I tried the Dragon Roll and the Golden Trio. The service was good though! We had a very sweet server. I was pretty disappointed in the food overall and wouldn’t come back.

Been there many times. It was one of the places that I frequented quite often during the pandemic because I wanted to help them stay open. I have noticed some changes in both quality and portion size now that the United States is starting to open again so that's disappointing. I won't go as much now as I did but the owner is a really nice guy and the happy hour is a decent value.

Tried the 16th Street and Raiderz rolls. The Raiderz was really good, the 16th was pretty bland. I don’t recommend that one. The host suggested I try the Sexy Devil next time, he said it is their most popular roll. Great prices, $20 for the two rolls.
