Food was amazing! Great options for different slices! The slices are quite large. Friendly environment, workers were nice, nice cashier as well. Decently priced. Lots of seating space. Food was ready pretty quick as well. An excellent place to stop in and grab a bite of some delicious kosher pizza! Recommended for anyone in the area.

The unofficial headquarters of “Just grab me something from Jerusalem, I’m starving.” Jerusalem Restaurant in Elizabeth is one of those places you walk into and immediately think, “Ah, this is exactly what a good, heimishe pizza shop should feel like.” The vibes are classic, the tables are sturdy, the chairs don’t wobble (a neis), and the smell of fresh pizza hits you before you even finish parking your car. The slices here? LEGIT. These aren’t your delicate, Brooklyn-style thin slivers. These are full-on, serious, respectable Elizabeth mezuman-size slices. This was my first time here, but my aunt shared that the restaurant was renovated since her last visit. This is a Kosher place, and they have a dedicated Rabbi who is affiliated. They had pizza pies and food already prepared that you can choose from. We got a half pita with lentil soup. You can choose your topings. The food was ok. The workers were friendly. The place looks clean and the bathrooms, too. I would come back if I lived in town. I wanted to try the pizza, but I love falafels.

I dont think "great place , people and food" is adequate . They actually care about what they make and do everyday. Anyone will take an order for you....everyone is fully present... they have their departments, but ready to jump in at any moment - its a positive use of the word Triage! Serving size looked small - asked for more and with a smile they topped off my soup ( vs. "Ready for combat"). Asked for "Grande" slice and boy did I get one - I should have washed on half of it; wasn't even hungry for dinner, and, BTW, it was the best Spinach and Eggplant I ever had ( Is that the usual combo? I forget). My son's "Mac and Cheese" should be renamed "Big Mac and Cheese" - ok, maybe not, but you get the picture - he took home half and will have snack for next day or so. They are friendly a

This place has been around for years and quite frankly looks and feels it. I have been coming here for years as well. The food is okay and is cafeteria style. For a Kosher restaurant the prices are reasonable, comparable to a non-kosher restaurant. I like the salad platters. The pizza is okay. If you are looking for an informal kosher restaurant with descent food and in the area, give this place a try.
