Jessamine County Clerk Office

Nichvegas DMV, stand in line like you at a DMV except the people in line are quiet well behaved polite people and the staff is friendly, always helpful, and Emily had such a fun, and witty personality that it legitimately enlivened my spirits and left me reminiscent of a time when we took personal interactions with new people for granted never expecting the future to be so cold, lifeless, and smartphone sized. Anyway it's where ya get yer tags at and an anecdote to type out while you have to wait on the next thing ;)

I am at my wits end with the Jessamine County DMV. Lost documents, incorrect information given to you, paying for someone's else's registration (and given their personal information)...I can go on and on. I think the department needs a complete overhaul.

Teresa Gilliam was extremely helpful & very easy to work with. First time getting a title change & she basically did everything for me & made the process very stress less for me

Tried to register a kayak so I could put a trolling motor on in for fishing. "Gotta have a title or a bill of sale".......I bought this thing at a yard sale when I lived in another state 20 years ago (with 20 years of pictures to prove it) , and the person it was purchased from is no longer with us so I can't get a bill of sale. Instead of helping me try to find a work around I was blamed for the whole problem, and treated like a waste of time. If I could go somewhere else I would. Horrible people,and service. If you work for the city you are supposed to help it's citizens not hinder them......

I spoke with the Jessamine County Clerk’s office, and ask for help in finding a phone number regarding my drivers license. I was told where to go online to look it up, but when I asked if she could help me find that number she refused. This is the problem, government offices, serve the people not the other way around. The woman was rude, short and unhelpful. It would’ve taken her a very few key strokes to find a number to assist me.
