My family stopped in last night before closing (I know.. I know…but it was after a basketball game 🤷) we arrive around 810pm. No line, was immediately welcomed with smiles and warm inviting energy. Most places when you stop in close to closing people are rude and short with you. Not here! I ordered side salad, with 3 meat combo, I got the turkey, ribs and marble brisket… 🤤 the marble brisket was just how I hoped it would be. The fat tasted like butter. All the food my family got — loved it. Collard greens were good, my husband got the jalapeño sausage which I tasted and was delicious. My son got the pulled pork and chicken, he enjoyed his meal. The staff were younger side and friendly. You can tell they’re still learning as to be expected on any opening. Everyone stopped by to check on us
Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ earns a solid 4 out of 5 from our visit. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, my wife tried the brisket chili, and our daughter had the kids’ mac and cheese. Everything was fine overall, but the standout item was definitely the fresh, warm cheese biscuit, which was easily the highlight of the meal. One positive moment was when the owner/manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was. My wife mentioned that the brisket in her chili was pretty fatty, and he took the feedback seriously, saying he’d follow up with the kitchen. That kind of interaction really stands out in a good way. Service was smooth, our wait to order wasn’t long, and the staff stayed attentive. The only real downside was the volume of the music. It was loud enough that we had to raise our voice
Great place for BBQ. You enter and order like a fast food place. They give you a number to put on your table and they bring it out to you. You don't have just one server. All the staff is running around filling drinks, clearing tables and fulfilling requests. You tip when you place your order which is weird to me. I would have left a bigger tip if I'd known how good the service was gonna be. They've been open for on a couple of weeks so I hope the service and energy stays where it is now and not drip off after the newness wears off. The BBQ is fantastic and from what I have had their sides are amazing. You won't go wrong coming here.
After sunset on the beach o stopped here. I never eat barbecue. Brisket is very good marbled. I think I was their at closing. They weren't too interested in helping clean up the top of my drink spilled halfway and everything and me got soaked. Not too happy about 4 servers doing nothing to help me. Could have been more attentive. I was the only one there and I spent 40.00s for one person but it will last me 3 days I think...a bit pricey for sure but the marbled brisket and corn muffins were delicious
Disappointing Visit to Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q in Hendersonville, TN – Overpriced and Underwhelming. THIS WAS A TAKE-OUT ORDER I recently tried the new Jim 'N Nick's location in Hendersonville, Tennessee, hoping for some solid Southern BBQ. I've heard good things about the chain overall, but this experience left me frustrated and questioning if it's worth the hype – especially at these prices. Spoiler: I won't be going back. Let's start with the main event: the spare ribs. I ordered 3 lbs thinking it'd be a hearty meal for the family, but at $34, it felt like highway robbery. For that price, you're basically paying for bones. Each pound yields maybe 1 oz of actual edible meat – the rest is bone, fat, and trim waste. The trimmings (those end bits) were a joke: tiny scraps no taller than my
