Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

I ordered the rib platter through DoorDash delivery. My first time eating Jim 'N Nick's. The ribs were packed with flavors and they were juicy 😋. Also, got Mac and cheese and Potatoes salad, very good!

Slightly off of the “beaten” path but worth finding and worth stopping. The BBQ is some of tho best found anywhere; very tender and not heavily seasoned or dried out. Inside atmosphere is very family friendly with an outdoor patio for an even more relaxing experience. Service is excellent and courteous. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. These restaurants are located across the South so don’t pass one by if you are in the area.

During my first visit to Alabama, one of our stops was a place that my husband highly recommended, as he is from Alabama and said it was very popular. I can confidently say it had the best brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw I have ever had in America. We travel a lot and enjoy BBQ, but this was by far the best for me. Oh, and the cheese biscuits were delicious, as well as the lemon icebox pie!

Absolutely amazing experience thanks to Cindy! From the moment we sat down, she was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Cindy went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checked in on us at just the right times, and made us feel truly taken care of. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in her service. She completely elevated our experience honestly one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. If you’re coming here, ask for Cindy. She’s the best!

Our server Becca was so kind and attentive! We got the southern salad, bbq sandwich meal & kids sandwich meal but subbed in chicken instead of pork and she was so great about our accommodations! The cheese biscuits are always a highlight and it was no different this time, our drinks stayed filled and the food came out fresh and hot! It’s so hard to pick because there is so much good stuff, highly recommend!
