The new venue at The Train Station S. Jefferson St. Roanoke is perfect!! While there, enjoying an absolutely amazing meal, a train slowly pulled in and looking out the window beyond the train, is a fantastic view of the Roanoke Star. It doesn’t get much better than that!

I can't say enough great things about Jim and Amanda! Not only was the food at our wedding unique, delicious and displayed beautifully (our guests have been raving about it all week), but they treated us like family and made sure everything about our wedding day was perfect. The staff and bartenders were also amazing- professional, friendly and made sure everything was seamless. We cannot thank all of you enough for everything! Our wedding was an absolute dream come true and Schaal's was a huge part of that.

Schaal's has been one of the easiest caterers I have worked with. Jim and Amanda do a phenomenal job coordinating events and getting all the minor details ironed out. They do their best to work within your budget and make suggestions when needed. Their team of chefs, bartenders and waitstaff are top-notch and personable. Schaal's Catering truly creates an experience for your guests to remember. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend!

Last Saturday eve, 80 friends and I enjoyed gathering for a high school reunion. Schaal's catering was absolutely fantastic. They worked with us to stay within budget. They were responsive and flexible. Their entire team was phenomenal! The menu was heavy hors d'oeuvres and it couldn't have been more delicious. The presentation was eye-catching and inviting. The appetizers were plentiful and ranged from simple to elevated. Enough to satisfy any palate! We had a cash bar and the bartenders were personable and fun. Food and drink seemed to roll in. Our attendees were suitably impressed. I appreciated that they worked with the Woodland Place venue to make the evening a success. Need I say more? I would highly recommend Jim, Amanda, and the team to work your event.
