Jimmy Hula's Altamonte Springs

This is the second Jimmy hula's restaurant I've been to. The first is in Palm shores Florida but this one has the scenery down pack. Of course the tacos are full to the brim, fresh, very flavorful and I always opt to have the voodoo tacos which is a lightly battered crispy fish with pineapple and jalapeno salsa and voodoo sauce stuffed inside of a nice crispy tortilla shell. I also ordered Cajun fries with voodoo sauce as my side item and they are very tasty perfectly seasoned in the voodoo sauce sets them off completely, But the real gem here is the private dining area outside in the front of the restaurant. We had a Jimmy Hulas in downtown orlando which sadly closed after Covid 😞😞😞 Decided to try this location and it is amazing! Loveeeee the outdoor seating with the fountain and plants! So cute Staff was very friendly and attentive too Food is delicious, got the jimichurri and the Baja tacos with drink chips and guac for $20 Price increased a lot but I guess it’s just our new reality 😞😞😞 Make sure you try their gnarlic sauce ( you can get by the fountain drink machine) Will definitely be back

Such an incredible gem in Altamonte! Food is amazing, staff is top notch! I go there multiple times a week to relax on their tropical deck that looks like "The Garden Of Eden". If nothing else just sitting on the deck will relax you and that is free. They will customize any item for you! They have a full bar if you have a beverage of choice in mind. Makes you feel like you are sitting off the beach in Hawaii... No plane ticket needed! Cheers :)

We really love Jimmy Hulas food. It's been a favorite for several years. However, their prices have just gone through the roof. I know everything has gone up everywhere, but their increases in prices are next level. It's just crazy to spend $40 for 2 "meals". Everything has always been a la cart at Jimmy Hulas, which is already not a good value, but now each item has skyrocketed in price. $6 for 1 average size taco is insane, and then another nearly $5 for a side like fries. $18-20 per person for a small burrito and fries and no beverage is ridiculous! I know their food is fresh and good quality, but it's still basically, a fast food" restaurant. It's a counter service joint with a fun atmosphere. I can get a nice meal with a beverage in a sit down restaurant with a waiter for that price

We were traveling and stopped here for lunch. It felt like discovering a little gem. The food was delicious; we ordered blackened shrimp and fish tacos, both excellent. The decor is original, like a small island of calm in the middle of busy roads and streets. The service was very friendly.
