Jimmy Max

I used to order takeout from Jimmy Max all the time—their appetizers and pizza were always delicious. I don’t live five minutes away anymore, but I recently went back and was blown away, especially by their gluten-free options. I have a daughter with celiac disease, and on Staten Island the options are usually very limited—pizza, pasta, or maybe a burger bun. Not at Jimmy Max. Their gluten-free menu is extensive. My daughter hadn’t had a rice ball in over six years, and the one she had here was excellent. The GF BBQ ribs were amazing, and they even had gluten-free mozzarella sticks—which is almost unheard of. Everything we tried was delicious. For dinner, she had gluten-free chicken parm with penne vodka. I had the chicken rollatini, which was outstanding. Dessert didn’t disappoint eithe

I can’t say enough good things about Jimmy Max’s. Walking in on a Tuesday night for their gluten-free Tuesday menu was just the start. The food, Absolutely amazing, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free mozzarella sticks and a pumpkin cheesecake that’s to die for (shout out JoAnna’s Desserts!) But what really makes it special is the energy. The owner, Jimmy, is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met. Even on a busy night, he sat down, chatted with me for a good 20 minutes, shared his story, and made me feel like part of the crew. And it’s not just Jimmy. His entire team - Erin, Izzy, Juliana, Jah, Ronnie - were all just as welcoming. I’m live in NYC, and I’m seriously planning multiple trips back just for this experience. wearing my jimmy max sweatshirt everywhere!

Jimmy Max delivers great food and outstanding service every time! The menu is solid and satisfying, and the staff is some of the friendliest around. The atmosphere is simple but functional. A dependable go-to spot that keeps you coming back for more!

Overall cool spot. Used to go there when I lived on Staten Island. The calamari had no flavor at all and was lukewarm when it arrived at our table. The stuffed mushrooms were decent but again came out lukewarm, perhaps the food sat a bit too long in the kitchen. The waiter was very kind and attentive. The environment was family friendly and there’s plenty of televisions to look at. I think the cooks can try and season the food and make sure to keep it under a warmer until it leaves the kitchen.

New Pictures Terrific atmosphere and extremely friendly service. We do not often have the opportunity to visit this area, so we were excited to go. We had a special event for my son’s school and even though the place was jam packed due to games, the staff and service did not skip a beat. The food is really great and the bar is very popular. Highly Recommend
