Jimmy's Chicken

Only a few tables in this little restaurant, but the hot, crunchy, not greasy, lightly Cajun spiced, fried chicken and creamy coleslaw are well worth the stop! Jimmy’s is now pinned for us to stop in again next time we drive through!

Everytime I go I get fast and friendly service. The food is A1 ALWAYS. The chicken blows KFC, Popeye's and Church's outta the water! Price, quality, taste all 100 percent! Love this place! Not to mention the food is always fresh. It's made to order, but the wait time is short.

Driving from central TX to MS and we were out of sync with our normal stops so figured we'd give it a try. Opted for the fish and a fish and shrimp platter. I'm so glad we stopped. That fish was fantastic! I expected small portions for the price but these were good size strips. Even the shrimp were larger than expected and tasted like hand battered. We'll definitely stop back in. Oh, if you're in a hurry, feel free to call ahead. I'm going to try the bread pudding next time.

The chicken is over cooked, the only thing that is over cooked correctly is the boiled and fried shrimp. The only thing that is worth eating there is the bread pudding. The older guy at the front counter was rude. The place is nice for a gas station.

Our food is always good! The bread pudding we got was amazing!! I wish I had another piece of that right now!
