Jim's On Main

A perfect diner breakfast. Friendly, prompt service. The food was delicious, and even the coffee was good! Highly recommend.

This place was meh at best. 1. The N.Y. strip steak was supposedly N.Y. strip... it was the steakums I buy at the grocery store. Usually when I order N.Y. strip i get it at the diner I usually frequent (happened to be closed today). 2. Waitress doesn't smile once... the line cooks were happier than the waitress. 3. Cinnamon French toast was above sub-par. 4. Cost and value do not match. I only came here once before and said I'd never come back. Wanted to give them one more try. Now I mean it when I say I will not be coming back.

Stop by for a quick breakfast. Noone greeted us when we walked in so we sat ourselves. Three or four other tables that arrived after we did were greeted and asked if they wanted coffee and given a menu. Three different waitress just walked right by us without even offering a menu. I had to yell out to one of the waitress to get her attention for a menu. She looked pissed. Not one of them looked happy. I ordered the waffle with fresh peaches and cream. The peaches were frozen, the waffle had a glob of butter so thick it did not melt and the waffle was cold because of the frozen peaches. I was very disappointed at the service.

Amazing place for brunch or breakfast. Had a late breakfast here over the weekend and the food was amazing. Best blue berry pancakes I had in a long time. Service was great, wait staff kept my cup of coffee filed at al times. Everyone was courteous and friendly and the price was very reasonable. Higly recommend.

While visiting Rochester, my girlfriend and I had breakfast at Jim's On Main. Something about the name made me want to eat here. The owner was our server, and she was so pleasant to talk with and provided exceptional service. She suggested I order from the Signature Items, so I had the Calista Frittata. It has ham, bacon, sausage, and I picked feta cheese mixed with home fries and two eggs. I had a side of meat hot sauce that added some spice to my meal. It was outstanding. If you are in Rochester, I highly recommend Jim's On Main.
