We stopped here on a trip. Food was a bit expensive but I will say you do get A LOT of food for your money. We have enough for 3 meals. The orange chicken in my opinion was not very flavorful. There was not extra sauce, but a lot of water, on the bottom of the container. The sauce that the chicken is tossed in is all you get. The chicken teriyaki appetizer was really good. My daughter said that the chicken lo mein was really good though as well. I am giving 3 stars because the most expensive thing we got was the most bland and disappointing. Would I come here again and try something else if I was from the area yes, but I would also be trying other places first in my opinion.
Best egg rolls in town, and I’ve checked. The Mei fun is awesome. The egg foo yung is awesome. It’s absolutely worth the hassle of going to pick it up. I am picky about my Chinese food and once I found Jin Jin, I haven’t been anywhere else. It’s take out, you can dine in if you want but it’s a take out joint with tables. It’s the best takeout. It’s consistent. The egg rolls and dumplings are made in house, not frozen. Any bad reviews Ive read are petty and describe what I would call the charm of an authentic experience at a Chinese takeout restaurant that knows that they have good Chinese takeout.
The sesame chicken was nice but paired with two broccoli was not enough to mix with the sauce. Smaller broccoli mixed in would have been better The rice was filling but tasted like too much MSG. The atmosphere, I would have liked to see more pictures of mountains of china or a shrine perhaps I will be back 😎
I’m a regular customer and usually spend around $40–$50 per order. Asking for a handful of hot mustard somehow turned into a confusing back and forth which was unnecessary and irritating. I even clarified and said 'as many as you can give me'. Then I was questioned for an EXACT number of packets. For a large order, this shouldn’t be an issue at all. The food is solid; the stinginess over condiments was not.
Awesome! Ordered a small chicken and broccoli with veggie fried rice for dinner and it was fresh and hot and delicious. There were so many good vegetables in the fried rice and the sauce on the chicken & broccoli was great, not too salty. The lady who took my order was really friendly, too. Thanks!
