Jiyuu Sushi

Kevin is a master! We have never had sushi this good in Idaho! Update: luckily I got to enjoy this experience for a second time - great variety of fish and excellent service. I found everything to be amazing. The staff is knowledgeable, personable, professional and attentive. I loved the addition of the scallop crudo for a bright palate cleanser and the ginger toro flavor bomb to start the meal was incredible. The ambiance was both elegant and serene, with a minimalist design that put all the focus on the incredible fish. The fish was fresh, some pieces melting in your mouth, with subtle nuances that were brought out by the carefully selected garnishes and sauces. Highly recommended!

We have lived in Boise for 6 years and have never had fish this good. Hired them to cook for us as a private party for my husbands birthday and everyone was amazed by the quality of fish and flavors. Coming from California excellent sushi is what we missed here and these guys did not disappoint! A birthday my husband is sure to never forget!

Drove there... Guess what isn't there... it's a pop-up gig. Maybe put that in the Google title and don't list it as being open 24 hours. EDIT REPLY: To the owner, you have the ability to put additional info there, which you did not. You are also NOT open 24 hours. Most people won't go to your website first, especially if the location looks close on a random search for "sushi". Hopefully this will motivate you to add some clarity to the listing. 1 star was less than I received when I showed up. Wasting fuel, and more importantly, my time, was what drove the rating. You can say I'm dumb for not visiting your website, and I'll rebute by saying your listing needs a bit of work and clarity.

Sad experience for Omakase. Not an intimate dinning experience at all. Complete waste of money. Food was average and creativity was questionable. I’ve had the same basic dishes made better at a lower price.
