JJ Fish & Chicken Locust Grove GA

Food was Good. Had the 3 Piece Trout Dinner w/Fries. Restaurant location seems fairly New, Clean and Neat in appearance. Service could use some improvement. On Saturday, 11 October 2025, I came in and place my Order, with only a small number of customers inside ahead of me. On my Receipt Ticket my order was placed at 11:44 AM. They were kinda slow in get orders out. I didn't receive my Food Order until 12:07. I only ordered the 3 Piece Trout 🐟🐟🐟 Dinner with Fries. A🍟 . Again this JJs Restaurant location wasn't jam packed when I arrived and place my order. 3 Pieces of Fish + Fries should have taken over 15 Minutes. Overall the Food and other this were on Point. This JJs just needs to pull pick up the pace a bit. I got here on a Saturday only 44 Minutes after they opened. I wasn't Blowed Out

I will give it a 5 BUT I do not care for the seasoning. I had the wings, whitening, hush puppies, and fries. The hush puppies were definitely burnt and the whitening definitely had no flavor. The chicken was good and crispy, but again, I don’t like the seasoning on the chicken but my family loved it. I could eat it again but I would probably forgo the seasoning. The resultant was clean, they were orderly with processed and the staff was nice and helpful. The pans of food were more than enough to feed 7 people.

This place is the best. I love it!! The food and service are great. When you place your order, you have to wait for a while, but it's really worth the wait. Your food comes out extremely hot, so be careful, but it's amazing.

Most of the food was great! I got chicken and shrimp. The chicken breast was over cooked, very dry. Shrimp & fries was very good. My husband got wings and gizzard loved it. Clean restaurant! Great prices. We will try again.

I used to swear I would not eat here bc of the name. Then one day, my bf insisted I try a bite of his cold whole catfish. I dont even like whole catfish all that much. That is, until that day! Man! I wanted more! It took me a minute to get over the name of the restaurant but when I did, I went and got some whole catfish (fresh and hot this time) for me and my Mama and we tore it up! Their chicken wings are the best ive ever eaten and the fried mushrooms are so so good. They just dont have any Ranch Dressing which is weird. Oh, the coleslaw is good but the portion size is a freakin joke! The cakes look delicious and they probably are when theyre first made. I think mine had sat there too long bc it was dry but ill try it again. The restaurant in general though, best fried food around! They
