JJAMPPONG ZIZON MEGA (짬뽕지존 메가)

I often go to 짬뽕지존 in Jamsil when I visit Korea, and was surprised to find a chain in the US! It tasted authentic and people were friendly. I got the half half hell edition with spice level 4 and it wasn’t particularly spicy, but it was still enjoyable. I liked the added quail egg as well. They were quite generous with the seafood in the jjampong, and the jjajangmyeon tasted great too! If you’re eating with someone who’s not in the mood for neither jjajangmyeon or jjampong, the location is in a food court so they can go to the nearby soondaeguk place and you can still eat together, which is what we did! They have a promo drink or something like that for writing reviews, but I’m writing it the day after so it’s authentic! 😅 I’d definitely go again the next time I visit.

This café located inside of Mega Mart in Duluth is outstanding. The food is consistently delicious and the service is fast, pleasant and courteous. We drove an hour just to come here. l. If you like your food spicy, they will make it really spicy for you. I highly recommend giving them a taste.

I first tried this place shortly after it opened, and this was my second visit. I was happy to find that the taste was just as good as the first time. The jjambbong here tastes just like the ones I had in Korea, so I highly recommend it if you’ve been missing authentic Korean jjambbong. It comes with plenty of seafood, all prepared without shells, which makes it easy to enjoy. The owner was very kind, and I left in a great mood. My friend and I each ordered a noodle dish and shared a small sweet-and-sour pork, which was perfect for two people. The pork pieces were thick and satisfying, which made it even better. I’ll definitely come back again whenever I crave jjambbong.

It’s a small restaurant inside Mega Mart Duluth’s food court. I like that you can grab some decent Korean food while grocery shopping — very convenient. The food is okay, but nothing really special to me. It’s good if you’re already at Mega Mart, but I wouldn’t make a trip just to eat here. Also, the price feels a bit high for a food court spot.

Very kind service, amazing food!! Noodles had a very nice chewy texture, and the sauce was very flavorful but not overpowering. Sweet and sour pork was crispy, but not greasy! Overall, my family and I had a wonderful time here. Forgot to take a picture before we ate, so here’s a picture of our finished plates. :)
