“I can honestly say Joann’s Deli on Bay Street in Staten Island is one of the best delis in New York City, and it deserves way more attention. Every time I come here, the food is fresh, hot, and full of that real New York flavor that tourists dream about and locals live on. The bacon, egg & cheese with salt, pepper, ketchup is absolutely perfect — exactly the kind of sandwich you want when you think of a true NYC breakfast. Their bagels with cream cheese and coffee hit the spot, and I’ve even had the pancakes and French toast — both amazing. Haven't tried anything here except the bacon egg and cheese and a BLT. Best BE&C. I've had in a long time. Generous amounts of bacon and egg. I know it's only a BE&C but they make it so good and there are so many places make it so bad. The Blt was also very good and not disappointing.

My husband and his crew are always stopping by for breakfast before heading to the Fort Wadsworth base, and all of us spouses know that if you want the best New York breakfast in Staten Island, this is the place. The food was so good we had to come back the very next day! I had a chorizo wrap that was out of this world. My kids ate every last bit of the sandwiches they ordered too. The service was excellent and I appreciated how friendly Willy and the team were to us.

Yoooooooo the sandwich was mad goooood! Grilled cheese with pepper jack cheese, bacon and avocado. It was rush hour and they still hooked me up with a good sandwich.
