Joe's Crab Shack

Excellent management team at this Joe's Crab Shack to help make things right as one of the entrees, Land & Sea, included steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes and broccoli: the steak was ordered to be medium done, however it came rare and bluish and was cool to touch. The manager came by to check on us and she agreed the steak was not done properly and agreed to have the kitchen remake the steak. The steak came back prepared properly. The only issue is that it took quite some time, so I had already finished my Crab Stuffed Salmon entree (which was delicious). The kitchen manager came by and talked with us when the steak came back - we were happy that it was re-made properly, just disappointed in the delay to have it remade. Chelsie, our server, was excellent!

We used to go to Joes Crab Shack a lot in Virginia so we were excited to try it here. The crab and shrimp dip was great but everything f else was not good. We had the mahi and it was dry and just didn’t have a great flavor. My husband broiled platter. He thought it was average. The apple dessert was not good, was too sweet. Great view of the river but the table between us and the view was empty but stacked with dirty dishes. Not only did it never get cleaned up while we were there but servers would add more dirty dishes to it. That’s a shame. I would not go back here. We had others tell us they are nearby and it was the best meal ever. Too bad we picked here.

We had a great dining experience 12/23 for a pre-Christmas meal out. We had the ‘sailors shrimp plate’ and the ‘southern shrimp boil’. Our server, Aaron, went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was excellent. We took some food/seasoning recommendations from him that turned out great! We arrived before the dinner-rush so, parking was easy and the noise level was manageable. We’d definitely recommend stopping by and we plan to come back.

We ate here for the first time tonight. Had Joe's in Ohio many, many years ago. Noel was our waitress tonight and she was amazing! Friendly, always smiling, great service. Cannot wait to come back again, especially when its warm enough to sit outside!

I had a great time at Joe's Crab Shack! The crab and their signature sauce were absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of the meal. The atmosphere was also fantastic and made for a very pleasant evening. There was a small mix-up at the start: the front desk server accidentally marked my order as "to-go," so I didn't get the full dine-in presentation initially. However, the manager and the server quickly noticed I was eating from takeout packaging inside the restaurant and came over to check on me. Once they realized it was a clerical error, their attitude was amazing. They were so professional and genuinely cared about my experience. Despite the little hiccup, their excellent service turned it around and made me very happy. I’ll definitely be back!
