Joe's Taqueria - Mexican Street Food San Angelo

Delicious. I love the birria tacos and lemonade. An amazing taste of home. Quickly prepared in around 10 minutes or you can call ahead of time to get your food prepared. Worth the wait.

To the amazing ladies working the truck, your service was impeccable! Ordered the tacos birria and it did not disappoint! The food was so good, I literally danced with every bite! Best damn tacos birria I have ever had!

They have daily specials in the weekdays. I ordered on a Thursday around 1pm. Service was fast and very friendly. The owner noticed I go there frequently and offered me a complimentary Horchata and was very good. I ordered four of the specials of that day, gringas (quesadilla)de steak and the chicken gringas. The Taco Pirata reminds me of a California burrito. Complimentary Sauces were tasty. The Gorditas and Birria was pretty good the other day that I had it. Overall a solid place, I like the environment, the service, and the wealth of options on the menu.

$40 for 20 tacos. Uneven tough meat, sloppily put in. There is a better taco truck across the street at the car wash. Lesson learned.

We are new to San Angelo and tried several Mexican places and landed at this one. It is absolutely wonderful. The price is right and the food is amazing. I’m now ruined because every other Mexican restaurant in my hometown is nothing absolutely nothing compared to this. They have my absolute strongest possible recommendation absolutely fantastic Mexican restaurant the best of the best!!
