Joey G's Bagels and Deli Freehold

I will say that this little hole in the wall makes some amazing coffee and bagels. All the bagels are made fresh bright and early so it’s expected that if they get busy the bagels start to dwindle down because they are made throughout the day. The owner is amazing and such a kind soul. If you ever need a quick go to jump start in the morning this is the place to go ❤️

Great food, great service and great staff makes this more than a morning breakfast stop. I don't live anywhere close to it but have come back after discovering it. The french toast bagel sandwich is amazing. I brought some bagels home for my son, and he wss thrilled. Get there early for the best bagel selection, as they have some unique ones.

Nothing like Manhattan Bagels.. they messed up 3 consecutive times, 1st my husband placed an order for one bagel, they handed him a bag of not 1 or 2 but 5 bagels. 2nd time a family member ordered cream cheese and strawberry jam bagel, they gave us strawberry cream cheese..?? 3rd time my mom ordered a bacon egg and cheese and they forgot the cheese!? During the week in the mornings, the staff is good at managing orders but the kids working is no good.

I went in a few times. I got a toasted well done bagel with specialty cream cheese which was $5.00. I got literally no cream cheese. I did not complain and gave the benefit of the doubt. Went back same thing with no cream cheese. Second time I went back told them and they corrected it. I’m writing this review because hopefully they will put some cream cheese on the bagel when someone spends $5 on it. I’m not going back because I was embarrassed to even ask but I don’t like wasting money! Maybe the place will make a change and give the people some cream cheese on a bagel when you order it. If I didn’t want any I would have said nothing on it. Wish I had taken a picture as it was literally bare!

Bagel burnt, realized after driving off , college age kids working there have no work ethic nowadays, they scrape the top to salvage the bagel for a (butter bagel that cost me $3.15 ) I ate the semi none burnt part of the bagel that’s why you see half of the top missing, lets try not to be cheap to save money guys , & throw it on the customers expense / experience & cost you this review, never again so much for trying to support local small businesses 🇺🇸 Good luck
