Joey's Pizza of Lynbrook

Old school pizza place, some call it outdated, but I like it. Asked for a pie and they made a fresh one for us real quick. Tasted great, fantastic prices. We'll be back 👍

BEST DEALS IN TOWN, BY FAR! I called Joey's the other day for the first time to try his specials and have it delivered to South Hempstead. I ordered 5 of his frozen meal on special for just $30. plus when we bought this we could also buy a large pizza for only $7. more! Delivery in the area was $5. so we got 5 single meal trays, a large pizza and had it delivered, $43 bucks, wow! To be honest, I can eat anything and call it good but my Italian wife is very, very picky when it comes to the food she eats, especially when it comes to Italian food. Pizza is not good!!.....ever since the new owners took over its different and bland to be honest!!..I used to come here all the time when joey was the owner. Now you see cupcakes and cookies and more of a cafe style then a pizza..I'm disappointed!!..they don't even care or listen to you when the order is wrong. Totally different store now!!..so sad I really loved joeys 😥..I'm not coming back sorry. I do hope they improved and stick to the old ways. Changing it up and disregarding what joey built is not good.

Searched and found a local pizza spot on the way from JFK. Planned on getting a few slices but ended up getting a whole pie. It didnt take long at all. There were a few people cooking and seemed like a lot of volume. Everything smelled delicious and would have loved to try more. Pizza was very good, especially the crust. The sauce was good but wasnt my favorite. Had a Long Island bias that i cant explain, coming from a Brooklyn boy. Meatballs were good too.

Joey's is in a section of Lynbrook with somewhat tough parking. It's facade shows it's longevity. There is an eating area that for sure needs a face-lift. Despite its age and wear, it still looks clean and sanitary. Menus are cluttered. There is a freezer with Togo foods. As I've only been once despite living in Lynbrook for almost 20 years, I've only tried the pizza. When ordering, a woman seemed to be a little short tempered as she had to break away from what seemed to be a catering order. It appeared she was wearing her pajamas. The gentleman who took my money was far more pleasant. This pie is somewhere better than domino's or dollar pizza, but below other pizzarias that would charge double.
