Johanna's Bakery and Restaurant

One of my friends suggested this newly opened place, and I’m so glad we went! Johanna’s Bakery & Restaurant is an absolute gem in Leesburg. We went for dinner and the food was freshly made, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. What makes this place even more special is the owners — a wonderful husband-and-wife team who are so kind and welcoming. You can feel the love and passion in every dish. Truly a must-visit spot for both sweet treats and hearty meals. Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh, I’m so lucky to find a pupusa place nearby that took me back to Childhood when I first tried a pupusa. The food is made with love and care and the bake goods are so fresh and not too sweet. I wanna come here every day, the owners are great Kind and they cook the food with passion. I will be spreading the word as they open just about a month ago it’s very clean inside and they bake fresh breads. Try the tres ledges Chocolate Flan and churro cheese cake with Homemade Horchata you will fall in love with it!

Their cilantro lime cream pasta is a work of art. Herby, rich, and citrusy sauce with some red onions, red +yellow pepper and meat of your choice. Solid serving size(I couldn’t finish the whole plate XD). I added broccoli to clean up that sauce and drank it with a side of home made tamarindo. The tamarindo drink was insanely good and I was pleased to hear they make it in house with the actual fruit and not just frozen/dried pulp like most places do. Would come again.

Wow. I have had the Lomo Saltado and Carne Asado there and it was excellent. Definitely felt like a home made meal. The Key Lime Pie was so good also. Definitely try it and help out the local businesses. Owners seems to be added to the menu so I am looking forward to try the other items.

Visited this place while my car was being serviced at a nearby dealership. Chose it as it had high reviews and it did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and service was prompt. Atmosphere was bright and welcoming. I ordered the chicken and pork pupusas and they were delicious! I thought the pork had more flavor than the chicken but no complaints here! Accompanying sauce wasn’t spicy enough for me and that was remedied by the hot sauces that were on the table. I also got the plantains and they were equally tasty. I tried the horchata and though I found it a bit too sweet for my liking I thought it was good. They also gave me a small complimentary slice of tres leches cake. Yummy! Overall very pleased with everything. The desserts and pastries they had on display all looked very appeal
