Ordered the meatloaf dinner delivered on two occasions recently. The meatloaf itself was delicious but both times it could have been hotter temperature-wise. I don't think this was the fault of the delivery drivers. Second time the meatloaf portion was much smaller than the first. Both times the vegetables, which turned out to be a julienne of fresh zucchini and carrots, were good but the amount of butter used for the saute was overkill. Both times I had delivery app discounts, otherwise the price would have been too high for the food offered. Nevertheless I will probably try again...

Very disappointed. I tried online ordering, but had issues with Toast saying I'm too far away all of a sudden. I called John Brewers and was advised to look into another delivery app. No recommendation. No can I help with your order? Just good luck. I've been going there for over 3 years. I was told there is new ownership this past month so I guess things have changed?

The food was on point, the service came quickly in all manners (before during and afrer). The atmosphere was quiet, everyone was spread out in their own areas as we were able to choose where we wanted to sit, there were tvs playing a game but the sound was low and conversation was in the air.

I had truly the worst French dip sandwich of my life here. First, it was ridiculously small. Second, the roast beef was leathery and hard - like it had maybe been reheated in a pan and all the life cooked out of it. I asked for extra onions on it -- got maybe a teaspoon full of onions on each half. No horseradish sauce either. This should be removed from the menu. And the restaurant was FREEZING.

JB’s has been here a while and is pretty good. It’s like most pub style restaurants. The food is good and the staff is friendly. Wednesday is $5 burger night so that’s a nice option. Lots of different beers on tap and mine was always delivered to the table ice cold. It’s not food related but I love the historical pictures of Waltham and it’s old businesses that are hanging throughout the restaurant. I will definitely be back again with friend for more beers and burgers.
