Quaint little restaurant with definite "small town vibes!" Staff was friendly with all the "locals" and those of us just passing through. We had a great breakfast at a great price! Hubby's HUGE pancakes were light and fluffy with eggs cooked too perfection. I had the French Toast stuffed with raspberry and cream cheese - a definite, slightly sweeter treat for breakfast!

We recently had a stop earlier today for late lunch (more like early dinner) and food was awful. I had the “Buttermilk chicken with fresh strawberries, fresh avocado, feta cheese, sundried tomatoes, and rice”. Chicken was dry, and the AVOCADO was definitely not fresh. Rice that came with it was salty and i think it came straight out of the box. I just dont know how to explain the meal, definitely not a good combo. My husband ordered the sirloin steak and it was unseasoned and dry. Will not be back again. Place was nice though as well as the also waitress.

Best burger I've had since I've left Texas. Excellent Reuben sandwich as well! Fries were good and they even put some Cajun seasoning on it for us.

Otw home from our road trip. We decided to try a local spot that was highly rated. Not quite sure how they got those ratings? Eggs and steak; steak was tough and flavorless. Farmer’s skillet; the portion was very generous but it did not come on a skillet. They must have prepared it with a skillet in the kitchen but the dish was very salty and greasy. The mini hot cakes were one of the better dishes. But I wish they didn’t smother all that butter all over all the pancakes. I prefer the butter on the side.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and nothing is better than Homemade food. John & Sarah's was amazing and Homemade food at it's finest. Menu was great and had amazing specials. But what really put them over the edge,, was their Homemade pies. I order one for dessert and two to go.. Staff was great as well. Definitely planning on going back again soon.
