Superb pizza with amazing flavor and quality! The crust is crispy, the sauce is tasty, and the toppings are always fresh and well-balanced. Orders are prepared quickly, and the service is welcoming. A great place for a delicious meal with family or friends. Highly recommended!

Definitely the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! Easy to find Just west of the Plaza on 47th Street Johnny Jo's has been providing an authentic Italian pizza to hungry Kansas City citizens for over 16 years. The plaza west location that the princess and I visited last night does have a couple of outdoor tables but there is no indoor dining area so it's basically Carry out only. The parking is off street in front and behind the building. Put this one on your list.

The ingredients are fresh and I love the fact that I can order by slices so I can try different pizzas. I liked tomato & artichoke, and pepperoni & sausage. But margarita sauce was too sweet and dry. The dough was very bland and all three slices were burnt on the bottom.

This place was a complete surprise to me. I’ve worked in the area for over two years and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it sooner. It’s a little hole in the wall, parking is difficult, there’s no dining area, and they’re not fast - but wow was it worth it. Oh I have tried the Sicilian Stromboli along with the original, and they are both amazing. The crust has a nice crunch with a chewy center. Nice and yeasty. They are generous with the toppings and you get their homemade sauce on the side. Go get some!

Found this small pizzeria when I was craving pizza. Love their pizza! Fresh ingredients. Their pizzas are thin and deliciously fulfilling. Love their toppings. My BF and I both agree best pizzas in the area. One time I did an online order for takout and wouldn't be able to get there before they close, but the girl staff I spoke with said she'll stay there until I get there. She even asked me what my estimated arrival time would be so she can keep my pizza heated until I arrive. I really appreciated the accommodation.
