Fun funky interior and good breakfast sandwiches. Also appreciate the portion sizes. Though because of how busy it was (Saturday brunch), we didn’t get coffee refills or a chance to talk to our waiter after the initial order. Cute area though + I wouldn’t be opposed to eating here again if nearby. Also the potatoes were very onion heavy 🧅
This kitchen is definitely doing everything right. I had one of the best pastrami grill sandwiches that i ever had. Love their cheese blintzes, lox and bagel. Love to have those classic dinners still up on business.
One of the best breakfast diners in town! I used to be a big fan of Knotty Pine for many years, but this place has completely won me over—it’s even better. The food is excellent, and the locally sourced fries are crispy without being overcooked. I had the brunch hamburger on a brioche bun—it was soft, lightly grilled (not soggy), and absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Truffle Bunny, and it was fabulous—fresh, flavorful, and not overly salty. This has officially become my go-to breakfast spot.
I have loved their porridge on cold winter mornings. However when I got it this week it was very dry (seemed like they used rice), not creamy, had no currants, 1 apple slice, and no seasoning/taste. I told the manager and was not impressed with his responses - “That’s the way we make it now” “Maybe it was just this batch. I don’t know.” I know I won’t be getting it again, and will go to a place with a better manager’s attitude.
First, I really liked the “old school” diner vibes. Felt like back in the 80’s. Food was very good. The sweet potatoes hash were very good except I could have done without the greens. Staff were pretty friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling. The receipt is for 2 people, which I found a bit pricey compared to Sandwich Works around the corner, which is half the cost, nonetheless, Would I come back? Yes, I would. Parking in the area is metered, I mean, EVERYWHERE. Use the PASSPORT APP from the App Store to pay for parking. It’s a lot easier. It’s like $1.35 for an hour and a half.
