Johnny's New York Style Pizza

Updated Review: We’ve been loyal customers of Johnny’s Pizza for a while now. In the past, we always enjoyed the food, the service, and the friendly waitstaff. That’s why this visit was so disappointing. We called ahead for a to-go order and were told the pizza would take about 20 minutes. We arrived within 30 minutes and decided to eat in, added drinks, and ordered a full-size pizza with breadsticks. Unfortunately, both the pizza and the breadsticks came out noticeably overcooked. Johnny’s usually has that classic New York-style soft, foldable dough, but this time the pizza was stiff, dry, and burnt on the bottom. Our waitress was kind and professional. Pizza was good, but I don't think it's worth the steep price. Inside was clean, the ladies were quick to get my order out. The pie itself is large and the ingredients taste good. But was it $28 good? I don't think so. As someone from NYC, I can say at least the claim of NY style pizza is valid. It's legit. I might come back for the cheap cheese pie to see how it stacks up, but the price for the meat deluxe makes my wallet cry.

I had Johnny’s New York Style Pizza here in Columbus, GA, and their calzone was absolutely amazing! Perfectly baked, full of flavor, and loaded with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. You can taste the freshness in every bite. The service was friendly, and everything came out hot and fast. Definitely my new go-to spot when I’m craving a great calzone. Highly recommend!

I mean it Johnny's Pizza need I say more. Everything was great. Crust not too thick or thin. Service was prompt, fresh ingredients, and professional staff. I ledt my server know I was in a rush for an appointment and she promptly brought out a to go box and the check at the start of our meal. I can't wait to return when I have more time to sit and enjoy the menu. Update: I've returned twice since my last post two months ago. Let me tell you the service (shout out to Natalie) always great. This time I had the lasagna and it was amazing. Keep up the good work at Johnny's Pizza.

We were at Johnny's Pizza on Friday, February 27th. We ordered a Mushroom & Onion Pizza which was very good. We also order a Stromboli to go go with Pepperoni, Onions & Mushrooms. Extremely disappointed with the Stromboli. It was completely flat and just barely filled. Would not recommend the Stromboli. The service we had was good.
