Johnny's Pizza

Its supposed to drop to 11⁰ tonight. Hopefully the cows will keep me warm and alive, because thats where my wife is making me sleep tonight because of Johnny's pizza. What was once my favorite pizza shop in town, turn to the most disappointing pizza shop in town. I was tasked with getting a "good, extra pineapple, extra cheese pizza" for my pregnant wife. I ordered online from Johnny's spending $8 for extra cheese and EXTRA pineapple. I knew I was in for it when it showed up and my wife saw there were maybe 10 pieces of pineapple, but only on HALF of the pizza. Im never allowed to order from there again if I survive the night.

Not a bad joint. A lil pricey but tolerable. Parking a little ruff. We got a pizza it was nothing amazing but typical pizza shop style. crust was a little hard. Some one reviewed their pizza as deep dish. This is not the case so be aware. Cleanliness was ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here but if it was on the menu I’d dig in.

Back in the day, you were loyal to either Giants, Pizzarama, or Johnny's. I used to be a pizzarama guy all the way, but recently visiting, we grabbed a couple of pizzas from Johnny's. Overall, a good pizza, there wasn't a wow factor. but I was surprised by it. Overall, for me, the crust definitely makes the pizza. I thought they had a good solid crust it was pretty tasty, not too flimsy. The sauce might have been a little sweet for me, but it wasn't bad. My wife and Kids did not grow up in the area, so they had no loyalty to anyone, and they really seemed to like the pizza. Think next time I'll have to get a pizza from the three of them and see which one I actually like the most. At least I know I won't be disappointed with a Johnny's pizza. We had a takeout. I moved to CT in 2016, and this was my go to Pizza place for years. I know it’s changed hands a few times since then, but the absolute price gouging from the latest owner is insane!!!! The last time I went, I ordered a large italian grinder and a small BLT and it was $36. Today, I ordered a small Hawaiian pizza with extra cheese, and it was $24.98. After my tip, I literally paid $28 for a small pizza. The food is good, but not worth the price

Even though we live in RI, my wife and I have been ordering grinders take-out from Johnny’s Pizza for over a decade and always loved it! I have no idea what has happened in the past few months, but the food quality and quantity have gone downhill drastically. We ordered this past Saturday 8/2 and for the second time in a row, we were extremely disappointed. This is a photo of their steak & cheese grinder, whereas they barely spread steak on the bread, we couldn’t even taste or find any cheese on it, and the taste was very bland. In the past, there was seasoning, and the bread was absolutely filled with steak. We felt like we were ripped off, paying $17 for a bread grinder and soggy onion rings like this, plus neither grinder was even toasted as requested. Why I even left a good tip for ta
