John’s Best Trattoria

Awesome Happy Hour menu! Loved that they brought delucious bread and oil & balsamic as a starter. All my pics are of selections off the Happy Hour menu. Only $6 for each plate! The drinks were really good & not watered down. The calzone, personal pizza, & eggplant parmesan stack were all excellent

The food is astoundingly bad. If this is John’s best, I pray to God I never see his worst. I spent over $100 and everything was a complete waste (except the side salad — I’m glad that was edible). Let’s start off with the linguine with clams and mussels. The odor upon opening the container was super strong and foul. I don’t think the shellfish was cleaned, AT ALL. And there was no seasoning in the dish at all, not even on the sauce. Not a speck of garlic or parsley to be found. Looked, smelled and tasted like ocean water in a bowl over linguine. $25 in the trash right off the bat. The linguine carbonara was linguine in a very watery “cream” sauce (which is NOT how carbonara is made, but it could at least have been thicker and not water-thin). This has been one one of our favorite restaurants. We’ve had dinners there which were very good, atmosphere and service is always good. When we finally tried their pizza we were hooked! Their pizza is so good! Crust is nice and thin, but not too thin. Excellent pizza. We used to go elsewhere and haven’t since trying John’s Best! Highly recommend!

Where’s the beef ….. meatball grinder 4 2 “ meatball stretched across this big grinder roll, asked for the pizza under done so I could warm it at home…. Great place for Happy Hour service and fresh food is decent , sauce is a little salty but this was definitely not worth $40 bucks Service when I am there is great but it didn’t apply today so I didn’t write anything …love Madeline she’s awesome. She made up for being double charge for double tip for a party we had there.….. I’m sure the server was happy he wound up with $180 in a tip but , I guess he needed it more than we did

So delicious!! The Eggplant Parmesan and Capellini Dinner.! And on another occasion, Onion, Eggplant & Meatball Pizza!! Loved every bite. Thin but not too thin..".It was perfect". Ordered the medium.! Perfect for two, or some left for me to enjoy tomorrow:), #Fave.. I highly recommend this restaurant and such good vibes to eat there...🍕💚🍕💚Buon Appetito👍🏻.
