John's Pizza

I was driving through NYC from Texas and wanted to get authentic NY style pizza. These guys are the real deal. Family owned, very friendly, and best of all the pizza was AMAZING. Actually made a second trip because I enjoyed it so much. Support guys like this instead of the chains. They are a national treasure!

I've driven through New York twice and stopped here both times. Delicious New York City pizza. The crust is a bit atypical. It is more of a blend between Neapolitan and traditional New York City pizza crust. Sauce is phenomenal. Toppings, cheese, vegetables are extremely fresh and flavorful. Very high-quality food. Decently priced. The best part however is the authentic New York accent and warm welcome when you order here. If I could give Seven Stars for a customer service, I would.

Before you spend a single dollar here, you need to read this. What happened to me at this establishment is something I have never experienced in any restaurant in my life — and I truly believe I’m not the only one. Customers deserve to know the truth so they can decide for themselves whether they want to support a place that behaves like this. The restaurant is tucked away in a hard-to-find lot and only serves whole pies, so I thought I’d need to be really hungry or invite others to share. Inside, a few people were dining at tables, but the atmosphere felt gloomy. Behind the counter, two pizza makers worked under a sign reading: “NO CREDIT CARDS OR APPLE PAY — CASH ONLY.” Since it was my first visit, I asked the pizza makers if they accepted Apple Pay. Best pizza in Yonkers! Crust has a crunch to it, no soggy bottoms. Perfect combination of sauce and cheese. Love it.

I have been coming here since I was 5 years old. The food is always delicious and fresh! The service is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and they do requests too! I had this custom pizza sent to me from my bf all the way in Buffalo NY and John’s pizza was the only place that would make it and deliver it to me! 100/10 service and food! Definitely recommend.
