JoJo's Family Restaurant

I was enjoying lunch with some good friends at JoJo’s recently and wanted to share the experience. When brought to our table it felt like we were posing for the “last supper”. We had a private room with a long table and we all sat facing out. The service was amazing. The server knew the menu very well, he shared some recommendations and moved as quickly as he could. Unfortunately he did get caught up with a few other tables so he slowed down a bit towards the end. The food was fresh, hot and tasted great. Any food accommodations were made for us. The desert menu was small, I’m told the cheesecake is fluffy.

Delicious! So glad we decided to give them a try. Service was great, food was awesome. The hostess gave us a brief tour of the restaurant since it was our first time visiting. The salad bar looked great and I love the family suites off to the side in their own little areas to allow for parents and larger groups to enjoy their experience more. Will return!

Service was great! I loved the salad bar. I did not enjoy the Cajun chicken pasta bowl. I ordered mushrooms and broccoli as an extra and it appeared as if it was one mushroom chopped up and broccoli was very tough. The top of sauce was watery and flavor was not good at all. I did enjoy the sample crab soup so I ordered a cup to go. I can say I enjoyed my dinner except pasta bowl. Yes I will give them another try.

Where do I start, from the warm greeting upon entering, and the awesome Staff! But it gets better, Jo’ Freshers, get it spiked, now let’s get to the food, the crab soup is the best on the East Coast! Period, don’t argue with me on this point. I had the fish & shrimp, literally 2 could eat off my plate and I have to say the whole experience was just that awesome! Please go! Please go! Please go! FYI! Black owned!

The staff were kind and attentive during my dinner meal. The crab soup had a lot of jumbo lump meat but the rest the meal was fairly bland (including the wine). The portions are hearty so you won’t walk away hungry.
