Jones Tavern

Came to this hotel restaurant solo 10-14-25 @ 950 pm. I had just got to the hotel after traveling all day. Decided to get a meal here. NEVER AGAIN. There was one other person besides the bartender. I ordered jalapeño poppers and salmon dinner. Within an hour, I was nauseous and ended up vomiting all night long. I am an emergency room nurse and travel frequent. I am fully knowledgeable to what food poisoning is. Finally, at 430 am I stopped vomiting, after a couple rounds of zofran and other meds to help settle the vomiting down. Luckily the hotel desk night clerk was kind enough to get some apple juice for me so I could detour my taste buds and help remove the yucky taste out of my mouth from vomiting. I DO NOT recommend eating at this place.

I came in on a week night and really enjoyed the cozy night time vibes with the fireplace on, and had a great meal at a great price point! We ordered fish and chips, ceasar salad, pasta with marinara, and chocolate cake. The ceasar salad was perfect, I would definitely come back for this or even make it my go-to for takeout the price was really affordable! The chocolate cake was also an impressive size, great for sharing between two peoples. Our server Kendall was really personable and friendly and made this a great first experience for us! The restaurant was newly renovated and very clean, if you are looking for a nice meal at a great price point I definitely recommend!

Here’s the 411 on this place! I’ve been coming here for sometime now. It seems the hotel and restaurant is now under new management. They have a new Chef in the Kitchen, Chef Liam, which I have been told has a huge background in food from creative scratch cooking with a Heavy Portuguese influence! (Sounds delicious already). I came in for the shark week menu and Man it did not disappoint! The “surfing” plate is what I got that consisted of sliced hangar steak and scallops, roasted potatoes, a veggie and homemade cristinies and an aioli for dipping . The plate was huge and delicious that highly anticipated $30 dish was well worth it! I’d visit again just for the food alone! The downside was the service. It seemed they were incredibly low staffed, there were lots of guest and only one perso

The food and service were excellent! There were quite a few things listed on the menus that were out of stock that were disappointing. They also didn't have soup spoons or steak knives, just small spoons and butter knives. Ultimately, though, a very good hotel dinner and decent prices.

Bartender Nicky was awesome. Food was great and so was the service. Did not have the beer (Miller Lite) or seltzers (White Claw or High noon) we drink which are very popular. Also, NO TITOS Vodka. Your bar will be happier with these choices.
