Customer Reviews
This was our first time at Josie's. Amber Rose was our server. She was so polite and provided excellent service. We went for brunch. We had the Josie's Benedict and Avocado Toast with the brunch potatoes. It was by far the best Benedict and potatoes I have had in years!! Josie's is a Decatur Gem!! I highly recommend visiting. We plan on going back for dinner one evening.
DO NOT EAT HERE. The service was awful and mediocre at best. My spaghetti and meatballs took 1.5 hours until I was finally served. But, instead of a good meal that you would assume 1.5 hours of waiting would taste like I was met with a measly 3 meatballs completely covered in a thick layer of cheese (probably to hide the horrible taste) and then I found that there was still a good amount of water left inside the bowl. I ended up trying to pour it out and decided that (despite starving) I wasn’t going to finish my food and I left the worst dish I have ever tasted sitting on the table. This was BY FAR the worst food I have ever had not even considering that it took a whopping hour and a half to be served. I wish I could say something good but truly I cannot find anything good about this rest
My daughter and I ate at the establishment last night. It was superb. The food was excellent. We had the fish tacos for appetizers and we had the The pickle pizza and added the garlic chicken which the waitress recommended it was Superb. I also had the lemon Cirila martini which was excellent and the waitress and bartender provided. Excellent customer service most definitely ether again. If you haven’t tried it please try it. It was delicious.
Josie's was a very inviting spot in this little town. They have tables and chairs outside so you can enjoy the weather and your meal. I had the French onion and it was delicious. The mushrooms was amazing - I need to find how to make these. The serve was so sweet and took care of us.
Ordered the French toast with Grand Marnier butter and thick bacon. What I got was two pieces of Texas (?) toast and burned bacon, similar to leather, and a plastic container of plain syrup. I had the same thing last month and it was as advertised and excellent. I guess they just don't care what they serve anymore.
