Joyful Thai

Wanted to add to my older review. My family of 4 came in and the server informed us there would be a substantial wait as they were unusually very busy. We thanked him and decided to go ahead and be seated. We ordered 2 appetizers and they showed up sooner than expected and we're delicious. We ordered our entrees and expected to wait a while. To our surprise our meals came out fairly quickly. Everything was delicious and large portions. Extra praise for our server/bartender/host/cashier he was a one man show and did an excellent job handling the situation. I am a former restaurant owner and can really appreciate his performance. I love this place! If Heaven had a flavor, it would be Joy’s Garlic Parmesan Wings!!! My husband and I come in once a week and dine in, plus we order wings to go to eat cold the next day for lunch! That’s how good they are! There really is nothing on their menu we don’t love! Joy, Robert, and the whole staff are phenomenal! A very clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and AMAZING food makes it worth driving the 60 miles we drive to the Joyful Thai!

I was excited to be in Tonasket for a few days this week because I missed Joyful Thai. The server treated us so terrible. The foods lacking seasoning… I did enjoy the mango rice dessert. I had food to go and decided to come inside to have a drink and maybe appetizers. So we sat at the bar. The guy tossed 1 menu and at my mom. She refused to eat there, as much as I offered. We’re black and native. So it was hurtful to see not once or twice the service of customers who come regularly, it felt like discrimination. I paid for my to go order and my appetizers while I waited… it felt very uncomfortable and wish I didn’t accidentally hit the largest tip option. These men need some advice on how to be gentlemen and serve the community. I had over $100 worth of food and left a tip… I’m disappointed

Had a great meal here after a long day of driving and it really hit the spot. I had the orange chicken and I definitely recommend it. The chicken was slightly breaded and the sauce was delicious. Hubby had yellow curry and that was very flavorful with tender veggies. Service was excellent! Overall we are really excited to come back!

Every item on the menu is good, no kidding. We try something new at each visit and they do not disappoint. They also have take out. Tonight I had Golden rolls with the Chicken Pad Thai. Yummm
