This curry goat was absolutely incredible. The meat was tender, slow-cooked to perfection, and packed with deep, authentic flavor. The curry was rich and savory with just the right amount of spice—bold without overpowering. Paired with the rice and peas and a fresh, crisp salad, every bite was satisfying and comforting. You can truly taste the love and tradition in this dish. Hands down one of the best curry goat plates I’ve had—Joy’s Roti Delight did not disappoint! 🤎🔥 And then they topped it off with⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The stew oxtail was pure comfort food done right. Fall-off-the-bone tender with a deep, slow-simmered gravy that was rich, savory, and full of island flavor. Every bite was hearty and satisfying, especially over the rice and peas, with the fresh salad adding the perfect balance. P
I had an amazing experience at Joy’s Roti Delight! The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Caribbean flavor. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The roti was soft and flavorful, and the curry was rich, comforting, and satisfying. The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and the atmosphere gave true island vibes. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This is definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving real Caribbean/Trinidadian food. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!
A Culinary Journey Worth Every Mile When you’re searching for the best authentic West Indian food from back home in Trinidad right here in South Florida, look no further than Joy’s. Today, I decided to revisit my roots and made the one-hour drive to Joy’s — and it was worth every mile and every minute of the wait. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of spices transported me straight back home. And one of the best parts of waiting for my order? Enjoying an ice-cold Carib — that unmistakable taste of Trinidad that set the perfect tone for the meal to come. The doubles were soft and perfectly spiced, the aloo pie crisp on the outside and pillowy within, and the curry chicken, beef, and goat all showcased layers of rich, slow-cooked flavor that only come from true mastery of the craft. Had to stop by Joy’s Roti Delight to get some authentic Caribbean food, and it absolutely hit the spot. Joy’s is nicely situated inside Lauderhill Mall and offers a solid lineup of traditional Caribbean favorites — goat curry, stew chicken, oxtail, Trini-style Chinese dishes, and even homemade ice cream. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by warm, friendly Caribbean staff that made the place feel welcoming and familiar. My server, Marlene, was an absolute charm — attentive, kind, and genuinely happy to help. She recommended the goat curry with dhalpuri, served alongside pumpkin and aloo (potato) curry, and it did not disappoint. The goat curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, and the dhalpuri was soft, fresh, and ideal for soaking up every bite. You can tell this is fo
I visited Joy's Roti Delight while I was on vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 11/15/2025. This was my first time eating carribean cuisine. I tried the Pholourie and it was delicious. I ordered the stewed oxtail for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! I'm not a fan of pumpkin at all, but I will eat it from Joy's Roti Delight. Each time that I visit Fort Lauderdale, I will stop at Joy's to try a different order from there menu. The service was phenomenal. The waitress that I had explained everything to me with the questions that I had which made my dining experience fantastic.
