JP's on the Wharf

This was my first time visiting JP’s on the Wharf Restaurant. The outside atmosphere is beautiful, filled with plants and a great view of the bay. They offer outdoor seating facing the water, but it was a bit too chilly to sit outside during our visit. Inside is cozy with several tables. They don’t take reservations, but our party of six only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our waitress, Cassidy, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We started with the calamariand Yucatan shrimp appetizers, both delicious. For entrées, we ordered the Yellowfin Tuna, Crab Cake, Fish and Chips, CAB Ribeye, and the Tropical Salad with Snow Crab Clusters. My husband loved his crab cake with its crisp golden crust and flavorful crabmeat. My sister-in-law’s ribeye was tender

Very nice place, food was great. Price was reasonable. Our server was Jack. Great job. All employees were very polite.

So as a southern guy its very hard to find a decent place to eat whenever I have to travel for work. This was not the case at JP's! The food is amazing! I highly suggest the ribeye(yes its a bit pricey but its well worth it!) And the calamari (i get mine with ranch and its delicious!). The burger is also a great cheaper option if you need one. This is one place I will truly miss whenever I have to leave delaware. The staff and everyone here have become family at this point so please give them your business! You will not be disappointed

Friendly staff and management and a relaxing ocean view atmosphere. Very much enjoyed getting to know some locals and sharing perspective on the surrounding area along with some great recommendations for this "Out of Towner". As I understand it, the staff catches much of their local fish dishes directly making this probably the freshest seafood I've ever had.

This place is a hidden gem. I cant wait to get back there for some fried oysters and their burgers perfectly cooked. Best crab cake sandwich I've had in quite a while. Great staff thank you Sarah for the great service. highly recommended and to the owner I hope you know how lucky you are to have such a great place it's well taken care of and super clean. It's nice to see people take pride in their work. Great job done by all! Shawn and Brian will see you again soon
