JR's Log House Restaurant

The breakfast was excellent which consisted of an omelette, oatmeal, and buttermilk biscuits. However, our waitress was not so welcoming without a smile or helpful with food selections. I would like to add the wooden bench at the table was very uncomfortable .

Been several years since I was here but it is still great. Pulled pork, slaw, stew. All excellent. None this time but excellent. try it. Since Covid, they close at 4PM so plan accordingly. Great food. Great service. Give them a try. You will be happy.

Swung by just passing through Norcross, I will definitely be back, you can’t beat the price for all this food and it was delicious. My server Nazrul was very friendly and accommodating I love the vintage look of the place, it’s definitely worth the try and better than all these modernized restaurants nowadays I love the hometown feel

Tried this BBQ place for the first time and was disappointed; dry, tough brisket, bad-tasting black-eyed peas and a tomatoey sauce with no bold flavor.

Food was fresh and hot, what they brought. Never received one side or cornbread that was with the meals. Each person had to ask for drink refills and never got the opportunity to ask for to go container as server disappeared after check was given. Restaurant was pretty empty with ample staff for the level of service received. Food received was good, hot, and less than 15 min wait after ordering. Ribs were sparce and dry but flavorful.
