J's Water Ice

Great soft serve ice cream. I see a lot of reviews about the older ladies being rude. They were very polite to me and my wife. Their politeness is one of the reasons i would go back.

July 2023, this was my first experience this season. I had a 4 star review posted for a few years the icecream was good and i felt you got your moneyworth. Today changed my thoughts! I can't believe a small Hot fudge Sunday, with nuts and without whipped cream cost over $7 and looked like this. I absolutely recommend going elsewhere.

Been going here for over 15 years. Love Jay's. Amazing gelati's and soft serve. Staff is lovely if you're kind and patient. Great local place. Will always go back

Love this place! I bring my son here once a week and the ice cream is so good! I've also dealt with the lady everyone seems to think has an attitude and she's always been nice to me. I think some are just sensitive and don't know how to take her.

J’s is definitely my favorite soft serve ice cream & water ice place around. I can’t even eat Rita’s anymore because they’re awful compared to J’s. However, the older, larger lady who works there keeps me from coming. On more than one occasion, she has been exceptionally rude. It doesn’t matter if they are busy or completely empty. She will slam the window closed while you are speaking to her, speak condescendingly to you, roll her eyes at your order, heavily sigh & shake her head and cut you off in the middle of your sentence to ask a question you were in the process of already answering. She speaks to you as if you are beneath her & not worth her time. It’s unfortunate because I do love J’s & their prices, however I nor my husband, nor my minor siblings or my overly kind parents deserve
