Juanita’s Heladería Paraíso Tropical

We loved Juanita’s Heladería Paraíso Tropical! Its way better than the neverías down in Denver. The shop was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would honestly drive back to Colorado Springs just to come here. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The elote really stood out—it was yellow corn instead of white, which is so hard to find, and it tastes way better. The nacho cheese on the Elote Loco was amazing and didn’t have that overly artificial flavor to it. Even the mangonada ice cream tasted fresh and not artificial at all. I sadly didn’t try the Champorado this go around but will on the next visit! Highly recommend!

I just tried this Mexican snack store and I am blown away by how amazing the food is! The flavors are out of this world and everything tastes so fresh. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is so welcoming. I will definitely be back again and again!

They have reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly. I ordered a mango shaved ice with vanilla ice cream and a hibiscus tea. Delicious!

Another hidden gem here in the Springs. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. All the fruit was fresh, and all the flavors were on point.

Fresh, big portions and great flavor! Everything is made to order and you can’t go wrong with anything, just depends what you’re in the mood for. A lot of the ice cream is enough to share! Staff was awesome and place is clean!
