Julia's Coffee Shop

Would be nice to sit down and enjoy the food which is delicious and affordable. 4 different size hot cups for coffee and a selection of herbal teas. Home style music playing quietly in the kitchen gives this Cafe a feeling of home. Fresh fruit and veg availed for Juices shakes or salads which is a must in this neighborhood.

I've had a good experience before ordering delivery from Julia's Shop but today I got a note that was rather disappointing and caused me to lose my appetite. I would have paid for the avocado if there was an option on Uber Eats but there isn't. They could have called me about it and I would have been okay with them charging it. Not only did they not put the avocado, there's other wraps on the menu that cost the same as this one but those have meat, cheese and avocado. So they weren't going to be losing anything. This wrap only has cheese and no dressing and it costs the same as those with meat, cheese and avocado. I was very happy to eat but then I saw the message. I didn’t expect that. The message was rude.

In an attempt to support local businesses we have placed over $300 worth of orders for delivery with Julia’s Coffee Shop over the past couple weeks. While we have experienced some minor nuisances such as instructions “please label” or “wrap separately" not being followed, we’ve had some major issues with our past 2 orders. They contained hot coffee which has arrived soaking a bag full of food and napkins after having macerated through the bottom of the paper cup it was in. In order to prevent a repeat, we specified "PLEASE don't put the coffee in a paper cup. It arrived dissolved and the coffee was in the bag 2 days ago” but it appears that the staff at Julia’s Coffeeshop does not read, understand, or let alone follow customer instructions or requests. Years of great service and food until today. I have ordered all breakfast, lunch, and dinner over the years. However, it finally happened to me.. I found a small cockroach in my last bite. I gagged so hard my whole meal came back up. I would give this a zero but the people over the years have been so lovely towards me and probably wasn’t their fault. Maybe is due for a deep cleaning back in the kitchen because I am not eating there ever again. I am so sorry. I am so conflicted now.

I got the 3 Golpes and although it's good it needs a little fixing. Less water on the mangu and a little butter. You want it firm yet not too firm. Other than that all good.
