Julio's Sandwich Shop located at Alamo Plaza

What a GREAT find!! A fantastic little sandwich shop in the plaza parking lot. Just ordered 19 Cuban sandwiches plus chicken and yellow rice plus black beans and rice for our work lunch and what a wonderful experience, everything was ready and hot right on time. You will not find a better Cuban sandwich in Lakeland for the price. Six dollars for a Cuban on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The people are always friendly and the food is great. The sandwiches are big enough to split if you’re not too hungry.

What a gem! It's so refreshing to find a restaurant that is serving great food, with a smile (yes, shocking to me after all of the places I've eaten at in last year....the owner was genuinely happy & concerned for customer!). They have a great Cuban sandwich and while fairly priced everyday, there's a bargain in store for you on Wednesday or Saturday!

The Cuban was delicious, crispy, large, and enjoyable. On the other hand, the deviled crab was disgusting. It had that pre-frozen taste, and it was not crispy. It had definitely been microwaved. My stomach is still upset from eating the deviled crab. I will go back for a sandwich again once I get over the negative experience with the deviled crab.

Nice little sandwich stand. Service was a 10! First time there, got a Cuban, cold. (Wed&sat $5 10" Cubans) good deal. Bread was a tad tough, could've been because I had it cold. Will absolutely try again and get it hot.
