Just Baked Bakery

After seeing its highly rated reviews, I decided to visit this bakery this afternoon, but my experience was disappointing. I paid $5 for a sugar-coated blueberry Danish that was cold, extremely sweet, and not to my taste. The bakery's ambiance is very underwhelming, and if there had been a menu board, ordering would have been easier. Besides, all the bakery baskets were empty except for baguettes on the baking shelf, dinner rolls on the counter, and stacked boxes of Thanksgiving orders everywhere. It’s good that there is a complimentary drinking water dispenser and coffee; however, no other espresso beverages are available. I don’t think I will return to this bakery.

Recently, I have been going around and trying different bakeries and ranking their danishes. This is by far the BEST danish I have ever had. The danishes I ordered were blueberry, raspberry, apple, and cheese. They are so flavorful, flaky, and fresh! The owner was super friendly and generous. They value customer service and it shows! The environment is very cozy and homey. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to try their danishes. I plan to go back to try out their other items!! Update: Max and Daisy RULE cinnamon rolls!

Wow! What a gem! This bakery is the best. We have been several times in the morning for their delicious pastries. I love the cinnamon rolls. This evening I came and got two beautiful freshly baked French baguettes and some chocolate croissants for the morning. The owner is the kindest man and bakes the goods himself. He also has a sweet little dog who works by his side!

Delicious pastries, bread, and pretzels! I special ordered the large pretzels after trying the smaller size previously. They are SO yummy. It's hard finding good pretzels outside the Philly area, but we found them at this duty station! Our favorite pastry is the chocolate croissant. We special orderd a everything baguette to eat with our charcuterie board. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The kids love saying hi to Daisy as well. If you haven't tried them out yet, please do. You can't beat their fresh baked goodies!

The owner is very cordial and welcoming! His pastries are incredible, as are his dinner rolls, and sourdough bread! Really all of his breads are top notch. He told me that he not only grew up in Germany, but was classically taught there as well! Please stop by and treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
