Let me start off by saying that. I am a professional fisherman. A professional hunter and a professional outdoorsman and cook. I came across "just fish" at The Hartford jazzs festival over the weekend, starting on Friday through Saturday. I was very surprised that an operation like this was offed. I visited this truck 4 times between the 2 days. I attended the festival. The staff are super great. I was able to the owner he's really a great guy, I asked them for a cup of ice and was willing to pay for it. And he gave it to me in the house. The fish, it's super fresh, the owner, and I had a conversation about how his fish was caught and how he received it, very pleased with the answer. Caught to the truck parking at Fishfry and Main St., Hartford. Figured, why not? Got the Whiting and fries with a couple slices of white bread. It was so dang good I wish I would've ate it in my car so I could've gotten another plate. Drove 25 miles home and was too full off $10 to go back. I'm ashamed I didn't get my wife or son nothing. I swear I didn't know it was going to be that good. Was offered potato salad which I declined, feel like a fool.

Went to the just fish food truck on a Saturday afternoon. The order that I placed was catfish and shrimp also chicken and shrimp. The order came to $39.72. I got back in the car the order for Chicken and shrimp had no shrimp. I asked the woman that's was very rude to make me the shrimp since it wasn't in the order.she told me I didn't order it. And told other customers that's were waiting in line that I was disrespectful for asking for something that I paid for. I will not be back there.

Impossible to believe such good food came out of a food truck, everything was good , shrimp well seasoned , fries were fresh and hot , server was busy but still made pushing orders out look easy. Try the fruit punch ! Great place to grab a bite while downtown.

No bueno, theres no flavor in the battered , and the shrimos were under cooked and slimy like if the shrimp were old, is not the best sea food , the Chinese seafood from the buffet has a lot more taste and is cheaper. Nice staff but no good food.
