JV HOT BAGELS (Baldwin Place, Mahopac)

Lots of selections to choose from besides bagels. Today I grabbed a quick bagel and muffin. I paid cash and good thing i asked for my receipt as i was charged as paying with credit card. There was no sign by the register about this. The sign was near the seating area. The law has changed and you HAVE to show cash n credit card prices. I advise people to check their receipts for over charges like this.

From the minute I stepped in, I was already greeted and asked if I needed help. I was not sure what I wanted at first, when I asked them to give me a minute, they made sure I was aware they would wait and they are available whenever I am ready. After looking at the breakfast sandwiches, I eventually decided to go for the Cobra Kai (BEC, Chicken Cutlet and Hash brown). It was beyond amazing, I asked for SPK and they put on just the right amount, the eggs were not dry or anything. I also accompanied it with an iced coffee, their cubes are made out of coffee! They handed me the cup and explained to me that there are many flavors and I can make them to my liking. Which I rather do myself than have anyone not do it to my liking. All in all, good experience would definitely recommend

I ordered an everything bagel extra toasted with extra strawberry cream for 3.95. Barely tasted Strawberry mostly tasted cream cheese. Bagel tasted fresh and soft as if it was baked in house. Thats why I asked extra toasted I like a crunch when I bite into the bagel not sure if she misunderstood. GOOD= More than enough cream cheese. Not how I like it still good BAD=Flavor of Strawberry cream cheese, Bagel not toasted how I like it Went back on 2/13/25 to get a Chicken sandwich it was sub par especially since I asked for no tomatoes and they added tomato’s it said on the board chicken cutlet why did I get chicken from the deli just kinda weird

Always tasty bagels and good hot coffee. There was music outside today so it was lovely. Near closing time they could have thrown in an extra bagel.

As a thank you to South Putnam Animal Hospital, I ordered breakfast for the staff. Dennis, the owner was so friendly, helpful and worked with my budget. He even threw in a fruit salad. The doctors and staff loved it. Thank you!!
