We were on a trip to LA and visiting this area. This place is absolutely rocking. Having access to Bagels in NYCyou are spoilt for choice and skeptical about trying it on the west coast! They do a fab job! The bagel is huge! You could share it with a party of two and get other bites on the menu! We got poppy seed, scallion cream cheese tomato bagel. They had sprinkled lemon salt on top? Yummy!! The cream cheese was not too light, not too heavy. The bagel was the right amount of chewy & crunchy on the outside. Got the Banana bread and oatmeal cookie as well. Both of them were large in size and delicious. The banana bread wasn't crazy sweet. We saved some for dessert to have later in the day. The capucinno was good as well. I am glad to have picked this place. There was plenty parking on a F

I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time because I have only heard great things about their bagel and bakery options. This little stretch of restaurants can get very busy, especially on weekends, so parking can be a bit of a challenge during the busy times. We were able to find a free spot in neighborhood behind the restaurant about a half block away so we got lucky, but also came early. The line here can get long sometimes, but it moves fast and I did not have to wait very long at all for my order. The menu is quite small, but it has a lot of great options on it and what really sets this place apart is just their overall bagel taste and quality; they are top-notch. They also have a lot of great bakery options from sweet to savory. Inside is small so the best place to sit w

HELLO THE BAGEL IS HUGE?? I find it extremely fascinating how Layla Bagels is right next door, although after having tried Jyan Isaac, I think they serve different audiences. Jyan Isaac has more diverse offerings beyond bagels, from bread to pastries, and their cream cheese is absolutely heavenly with its stronger flavor, reminiscent of Courage Bagels’ cream cheese. The combination of everything actually on the bagel wins the Layla Laika but there’s definitely still some room for improvement in the produce quality when compared to their competitor next door. However, there is no line here and a lot more seating while still capturing the vast majority of the bagel-eating experience!

I grabbed a bagel from here this morning and had such a wonderful experience. The young man at the front was very kind and pleasant and we had such a nice little chat. Every time I’ve come here the staff has been engaging and kind. I’ve only had bagels from here, but they always are a hit ! Everything bagel toasted with cream cheese is my go to. Perfect amount of chew with a good little crust on the outside, and a good cream cheese ratio.

While they serve food here all day, I’ve only ever come in for breakfast and have to say it’s an underrated pastry/bagel/brunch spot! Their pastrami and cheese croissant, Swedish cinnamon bun, and bagels are delicious. They make their pastries look like art! While we haven’t gotten their pizza yet, we’ve seen others order it on our way out from brunch and it always smells amazing. Their seating in the back is great, one of my favorite outdoor patios on the west side for sure.
