I got to try the fry pork ribs plate for $10.95 and they gave a lot and it tasted so good. I got to eat my lunch and saved the rest for dinner. The ladies working here are so friendly and nice to make everything a lot nicer. This is definitely a hidden gem.

Another Hidden Gem here in Kalihi at K&M Drive Inn in Kalihi next to Alicia’s Market. They just recently opened, but they are slowly gaining many followers. The Oxtail Soup is loaded with 4 nice-sized Oxtails and for the $15.95 price you can’t go wrong. Love the strong presence of Star Anise and love the Veggies and Mushrooms throughout the Soup. It comes with freshly grated ginger as well. The Fried Chicken Plate which came with 7 pieces of Chicken Wings with Rice and Mac Salad for $10.95. It was good at a reasonable price. They do Take Out or Dine in. Love the vibe here and the service was very pleasant. The only negative on this place is not the place itself but the limited parking situation. A hole in the wall place. People mostly take out. Just a few tables for dining in. NO table service. Counter service only. Some of the dishes are very good like the oxtail or pho. But the pork ribs are very underwhelming(fried bacon slabs). Can’t beat the prices though.

Had the breakfast bento, 6.50!!! The prices and quantity is unheard of. Place is newly renovated and clean. Owner is friendly and service is fast. They also have okazuya grab and go in the window for those that dont want to wait. Also tried the pho oxtail 15.95 and yellow chicken curry for dinner. Got to try some of their local dishes next time.

Great prices, big portions and tastes great the trifecta~. What more could you want? 😄
